Zac's Light Shines on... We fundraise and support charities to save babies lives and support bereaved families.
Zac's Light is in memory of beautiful Zac who sadly, after nearly 41 weeks of growing perfectly in pregnancy, was born sleeping forever.
Through Zac's Light, we support and fundraise for charities to save babies' lives and support bereaved parents and families. This is through organising events, taking part in challenges, and selling original design and craft work.
Lisa is currently involved with a local community project which is to build a special babies memorial garden. We are helping to fundraise for this project through Zac's Light.
To date, we have raised over £22,000 in memory of Zac. Over £17,000 was raised by Zac's Dad who with friends cycled over 100 miles last year. These funds have been donated to Surrey Sands to fund facilities in the local hospitals.
Over £2,200 to date has been raised through sales of design and craft. We recently held a craft fair where we invited other like minded charities, and the fair raised over £1,100 towards the babies memorial garden project.
We also like to support other groups and charities who are fundraising for stillbirth and baby loss causes.
